The Ossining Volunteer Ambulance Corps. (OVAC) is a non-for-profit, 501(c)3 EMS agency operating 24/7/365 and appreciates the wonderful support from our community each and every day. Financial contributions are greatly appreciated and actively assist in our ability to support our growing community.

Costs of running the day-to-day operation have increased greatly since our founding in 1958, and as we adapt to this every changing climate, knowing that our community continues to support our mission, is important to us. When we opened our doors in 1958, you could purchase and outfit an ambulance for under $10,000. Over time, a lot has changed. Today, the cost of purchasing and stocking a modern ambulance is well over $300,000.

With your continued support, we are able to upgrade and maintain our fleet and equipment to ensure the highest level of emergency healthcare and professionalism available. Additionally, we have added several incredible programs, one of which is Community Paramedicine, which aims at enhancing healthcare opportunities for our community members. We have opened our doors to training for members of the community, offering CPR classes each month at no cost. We have partnered with the Ossining High School to allow students to complete internships at OVAC, gaining them incredible experiences while also providing them a wealth of knowledge.

Thank you for keeping OVAC a leader in pre-hospital medical care.
